Universal single-file accumulation conveyor
The Gebo AQFile is a universal single-file accumulation conveyor designed for use across all industrial production sectors: beverages, wines and spirits, liquid dairy, oil, food, home and personal care, and more. It handles all container shapes - round and non-round - and all materials, including plastic, glass, metal and carton, at low and medium speeds.
An accumulation conveyor provides a controlled buffer between two machines or line sections that may operate at different speeds or experience unplanned stoppages. When a downstream machine stops, the accumulation conveyor collects the incoming container flow without creating back-pressure, preventing containers from jamming or being damaged at the upstream machine outfeed. Effective accumulation is a key factor in overall line efficiency.
AQFile handles all standard container types in single-file format: round PET and glass bottles, non-round shaped bottles, aluminium cans, cartons and jars. It is suitable for both empty and filled containers and is compatible with low and medium line speeds, making it a standard solution for lines serving multiple product categories.
AQFile is designed to minimise maintenance cost and complexity. Low friction and reduced mechanical constraints limit wear on conveyor parts. The system contains only a small number of wear parts and a limited number of drives, sharing common components with Sidel's standard conveyor range. All conveyor parts are fully accessible and comply with common mechanical and electrical technical standards.
