Transport conveying solutions

Sidel's container conveyor systems are designed to transport, accumulate and distribute containers reliably across beverage, food, home and personal care, chemical and pharmaceutical production lines. Comprehensive in range and flexible in configuration, they handle all principal container materials - PET, HDPE, PVC, glass, metal cans and beverage cartons - in formats ranging from 15 to 300 cl, across round, oval, square and rectangular shapes.

What do container conveyor systems do?

Container conveyor systems form the backbone of any production line, linking individual machines and process steps into a continuous, controlled flow. They transport empty or filled containers between stations, manage accumulation buffers to absorb upstream and downstream stoppages, and feed containers into packing, labelling and palletising equipment at the correct orientation, pitch and speed. Reliable conveying is directly linked to Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).

Container types and format compatibility

  • Plastic bottles: PET, HDPE, PVC in standard and shaped formats
  • Glass bottles: round, oval and square, empty or filled
  • Metal cans: standard and slim formats for beverages
  • Beverage cartons: bricks, gables and similar formats
  • Plastic and glass jars: for food, sauces and personal care

Format sizes covered range from 15 cl (single-serve portions) to 300 cl (large-format household containers).

Industries served

The conveyor range supports production lines across beverages (water, CSD, beer, juices, wine and spirits, coffee and tea), food (sauces, dressings, dairy), home and personal care, chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

Sustainability and energy efficiency

Sidel's transport conveying solutions are among the most sustainable on the market. Low-friction belt designs reduce motor load and energy consumption, while intelligent accumulation management minimises the need for container restarts. Integration with Sidel Digital Solutions enables real-time monitoring of conveyor performance and proactive maintenance planning.
