Automated depalletizer for bottles and cans
The Sidel Sweepoff A and B are automated depalletizers designed to handle loose PET bottles, glass bottles and aluminium cans directly from the pallet to the production line at high speed. Highly versatile and adaptable, they serve both high-level and low-level container outfeed configurations, support multiple pallet sizes and heights, and deliver automatic changeovers in under one minute without mechanical intervention.
An automated depalletizer removes containers layer by layer from a pallet and feeds them in a controlled stream to downstream production equipment. In bottling and canning lines, depalletising is the first step in the filling process. Automation replaces manual layer separation, improving throughput consistency, ergonomics and product safety.
Sweepoff A processes up to seven pallet layers per minute and supports line outputs of up to 144,000 containers per hour. Its straightforward design and operation make it a reliable choice for high-volume water, CSD, beer and juice lines requiring maximum throughput consistency with minimal intervention.
Sweepoff B handles up to three pallet layers per minute and is designed particularly for glass bottling lines where gentle handling is critical. It also processes PET bottles and offers easy access for format changes and maintenance. Its lower operating height improves operator ergonomics.
Both Sweepoff A and B support inline and 90° outfeed configurations. High-efficiency drives, low air consumption, a reduced component count and low noise level make the Sweepoff range one of the more sustainable depalletiser solutions on the market.
