Next-generation equipment innovations

On stand, Sidel will introduce its latest system, the Cermex RoboSELEX, which will make its premiere with live demonstrations 

The Cermex RoboSELEX is a state-of-the-art robotic collating system designed for case packers. This next-generation solution enables seamless handling of lightweight bottles in unlimited shapes and batch configurations, ensuring:  

  • Accumulation-free operation  
  • Ultra-smooth, continuous product flow  
  • Speed up to 320 products per minute 
  • Repeatable changeovers of 1 minute for collation changes and 2 minutes for a different bottle format 
  • Reduced costs and short time-to-market when introducing new formats

Agile robotic palletizing to enhance end-of-line efficiency!

Sidel will also showcase its compact, agile palletizing unit, RoboAccess_Pal S. As a new feature, the machine displayed at the booth includes an elevating column, which enables the system to now reach pallet heights of up to 2200mm.  

The cell maintains its key characteristics: 

  • Speed up to 12 cycles/min (1 to 6 cases per payload depending on size) 
  • Payload up to 25kg/55lbs  
  • Less than 12m²/129 sq ft footprint for 2 stations and less than 8m²/86 sq ft for 1 pallet station 

To further enhance End of Line automation, the solution integrates an AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) shuttle. The AMR manages the automatic infeed of empty pallets and the outfeed of full pallets, eliminating manual handling and enabling a continuous, fully automated palletizing process. This integration allows Sidel to propose a complete, smart and scalable End of Line system, from case handling to pallet logistics.
