Sidel recognizes the urgency of tackling climate change and is committed to taking science-based, decisive action. 

Science-based targets aligned with 1.5°C

Sidel’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets are approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and aligned with the Paris Agreement goal to limit global warming to 1.5°C. 

2030 targets and 2050 commitment

Sidel Group commits to:

  • Reducing absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 72.8% by 2030, from a 2019 base year
  • Reducing absolute scope 3 emissions by 30% within the same timeframe
  • Reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2050 

A robust, transparent approach

This long-term commitment is supported by short- and mid-term targets and a robust decarbonization plan, guided by science and built on transparency, operational efficiency, and innovation.
