Your Opportunity

The spare parts technical expert supports the front line, by providing proper technical advises & spare part number when needed. He is the technical referent for the SP supply chain & a link between the field (Part administrators, Customer care manager…) & back offices ( product support , design department ) The spare parts technical support expert is also handling Non -confomities raised by our customers and recorded in our systems (SAP, SPNC...). He oversees the issue resolution using all relevant methods (5 Why, 8D, Ishikawa) as well as manage cost recovery with supplier when justified.

Your Mission

  • Provide technical support to internal Sidel people or customers to find the right spare part codes
  • Contact suppliers when needed for technical inquiry & collect useful information.
  • Contact supplier to identify right codes when request is related to 3rd party equipment
  • Define technically SP kit and sub-assembly for Sidel product along with product support division (all Sidel Equipment)
  • Manage the item substitution in coordination with the SP lifecycle team.
  • Highlight potential SP end of life & share with the SP lifecycle team
  • Perform the necessary checks before any creation in division Spare part (Duplicates)
  • Check & provide the mandatory Export control information (especially Dual use aspect & Eu regulation ) before introduction of third-party items in SAP.
  • Support the SP emergency team when needed
  • Request the BOM updates to design office to ensure clean data base & SP sales
  • Manage SP Non Conformities  until final resolution and potential warranty approval (Expertise /RCA)
  • Coordinate quality control among warehouses
  • Insure cost recovery for its own scope of NC / supplier panel
  • Support warehouses in case of quality concerns (expertise)  + responsible of non-Conformity  & quality flag follow-up
  • Participate to projects aiming at improving quality of our SP deliveries

Your Profile

  • Degree in Mecanic or Electrical engineering, maitenance 
  • Technical knowledge on Sidel Installed  base (3 years of experience min) would be appreciated 
  • Structured and organized
  • Customer service orientated
  • English level B1/B2
