Sam Strömerstén is President and CEO of the Sidel Group, with over 30 years of global expertise of the beverage packaging industry. He comes from a position as Executive Vice President, Supply Chain Operations at Tetra Pak and joined Tetra Pak's global leadership team in 1999 as President of Tetra Pak's Processing Systems business. Sam started his career at Alfa Laval as a Production Manager in 1984. He went on to hold a number of different positions at Alfa Laval before joining Tetra Pak in 1992. A Swedish national, Sam holds a master's degree in Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, Sweden.
Juergen Voss joined Sidel as Executive Vice President for Finance and Strategic Planning in March 2016. Based in Parma, Italy, he is responsible for finance, controlling, business strategy and transformation, and information systems. Previously he worked for Tetra Pak from 2000 to 2016, where he held a number of leadership positions within the beverage packaging and equipment business, including Cluster Leader for Finance & Business Transformation for Europe & Central Asia. Juergen started his career in the automotive division of Bosch in Germany and France prior to joining Tetra Pak. A German national, he holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance and Auditing) from Westfaelische Wilhelms-University, Muenster, Germany and has completed further executive studies at the IMD Business School in Switzerland and the Ashridge Business School in the UK.
Clive Smith is Executive Vice President of Sales. Clive joined Sidel in 1993, and for the majority of his tenure has held senior leadership positions around the world. These include UK Managing Director, Zone Commercial Director and Zone Vice President of the Greater Middle East and Africa Region. Clive brings extensive experience related to understanding the needs of both global and local beverage producers of all sizes in all regions. A British national, Clive holds a Bachelor's degree in Mineral Engineering from Cardiff University. He also successfully completed a strategy programme at Ashridge Business School in the UK.
Andrea Forzenigo is Executive Vice President of Supply Chain at Sidel. He comes from a position as Vice President of Global Product Supply where he was responsible for managing factories in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Prior to joining Sidel in 2008, Andrea was Vice President of Global Supply at Nortel Networks with responsibility for driving operational performance improvement within production and subcontractors. He also has a decade of experience working in manufacturing operations for international companies, including Pentair, General Electric and Hewlett Packard. Andrea was born in Italy and holds a master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan (Italy) where he specialised in Production Systems.
José Luis Yécora joined Sidel as Executive Vice President for Sourcing in March 2016, with overall responsibility for the company's procurement and sourcing strategy. He joined Sidel with over 25 years of sourcing experience, most recently from his previous role as Supplier Management Director for Capital & Factory Equipment at Tetra Pak in Modena, Italy (2007-2016). Prior to Tetra Pak, José also held senior supply chain positions for Eaton Automotive in Monaco and France (1996-2007) and at SEAT, part of Volkswagen Group, in Spain (1991-1995). José is a Spanish national with an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, a degree in International Affairs from the Central University of Barcelona and a Bachelor in Law from the University of Navarra in Spain.
Pavel Shevchuk is Executive Vice President of Services. He joined Sidel in 2012 and has held different roles including Regional Commercial Director of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and most recently Zone Vice President for Europe and Central Asia. Before joining Sidel, Pavel spent a decade working at Tetra Pak. During this time, he gained experience from a variety of commercial and business development roles in Ukraine and Indonesia. He also has senior management experience from the food retail and the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. A Ukrainian national, Pavel was born in 1974. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine).
Frédéric Sailly is Executive Vice President of Product Management and Development at Sidel. He joined Sidel in 1999 and has held a number of senior level roles within IT, lean manufacturing development and production management in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Before moving into his current role, he was Global Head of Tooling worldwide and Blowing manufacturing in France. Frédéric started his international career in France with Procter & Gamble as a process engineer and has also worked for Citroën, the car manufacturer, in Portugal. Frédéric was born in 1974. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from ICAM Engineering Institute (France), which included studies at the University of Manchester (UK).
Deepak is Sidel Group Human Resources (HR) Executive Vice as per 1 May 2017. Deepak has 25 years of HR experience, most recently from his previous role as Vice President HR for Supply Chain Operations at Tetra Pak in Switzerland. He has worked for Tetra Pak for the past 17 years, holding a variety of senior HR roles in India, Singapore and Sweden. Prior to this he started his career with managerial roles at Tata Motors in Pune, India.
Marina de Barros was appointed Executive Vice President Marketing & Communications in January 2018. Marina previously held a number of senior management positions, including Zone Vice President Eastern and Central Europe and Middle East and Vice President Strategic Planning. She joined Sidel in 2009. Marina started her career in 1997 in Management Consulting for the Chemical, Pharma and FMCG sectors. Marina is based in Reichstett, France. She is French and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University Audencia in France. Marina studied as well at the American University Washington DC.
Christer Carling assumed his current position as General Counsel in January 2015, with overall responsibility for Legal Affairs and Intellectual Property. Christer began his career in 2001 at leading Scandinavian law firm Mannheimer Swartling where he advised on mainly corporate and mergers & acquisitions matters, as well as being seconded to the headquarters of Swedish Match. He joined the Tetra Laval Group in 2007, taking up the position as Legal Counsel for Tetra Pak in Stockholm, during which time he worked with all three Tetra Laval Industry Groups. In 2010 he joined Sidel as Senior Legal Counsel. Christer holds a law degree after studying at Lund University in Sweden and McGill University in Montreal, Canada. A Swedish national, Christer was born in 1973 and is married with two children.
Marc Aury has been President and Managing Director of the Sidel Group business unit Gebo Cermex since 2013. He started his career at the Kronenbourg Brewery in France before joining Gebo in Canada in 1991. Six years later Gebo was acquired by the Sidel Group and Marc was appointed CEO for Gebo Corporation USA. During his career in the Sidel Group, he has held a number of Executive Vice President positions for the Gebo Group for the Engineering and Turnkey Division, Operations Americas and Engineering and Material Handling. Originally from France, Marc holds a Master's degree in Engineering from ENSAIA (France) and has completed the Wharton Advanced Management Program (USA).
