Service Solution Engineer
Sidel is looking for a mechanical designer for service projects. He will be part of Tunnel BU Service organization, involved in management of the technical support to service pre-contracting, design of new solution for service applications, execution of service projects.
Managing the technical specifications of the service solutions on tunnel machines
Costing of the proposed technical solutions
Managing of all the activities related to the project design execution to respect the delivery date and technical specifications
Follow up of non-conformities and feed-backs from the Production & Field Dept.
Eventually support field department in the follow up of the service applications installation and commissioning
Take care of all modifications needed to improve the quality of the service applications.
Managing the maintenance plan and spare part lists of the new machines and the actualization of the technical documentation after O&U implementation.
Technical Support to Service Project Management and Service Sale Force
Level of education and languages:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent;
Knowledge of CAD environment with preference to Think3 and Solid Works, PC office and SAP user highly considered. Finite Elements Analysis competence will be appreciated.
Knowledge of thermodynamics basic principles.
Knowledge of design and conformity rules.
Fluent level of English is a must;
Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
Required experience and skills:
Strong interpersonal relationship skills and capability to manage several projects in parallel.
Solid mechanical design competence.
Experience on field activities
Availability at shorter transfers abroad (field and sales force support)
