Your opportunity

Implement the HR strategy through the provision of Human Resources (HR) processes, systems and measures in the Sub-region. Ensure the organization has the people capabilities to deliver present and future business goals. Serve as member of the Sub-Region management team. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the site from the HR perspective. Manage the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. Coordinate the implementation of services, policies and programs. Assist and advise company managers about human resources issues. In line with Group policies and local (labour) law, the HR Manager is responsible for all or part of the areas listed below for all the sites. Ensure safe working conditions, enforce safety standards, develop continuous improvement.

Your Mission

  • Support the business leaders to achieve profitable growth. Leverage group/regional programs where applicable. Ensure that the country specific needs are addressed with appropriate initiatives with acknowledgement and support from group/region team
  • Learning & Development: Ensure proper guidance on development for managers and their teams.
  • Training: Implement the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement.
  • Performance Management: Coach managers on performance management issues and processes.
  • C&B/Payroll : Lead the salary review process locally, ensuring budget alignment. Perform or supervise payroll
  • Talent acquisition, development & retention: responsibility for recruitment activities and campaigns, manage talent and succession planning.
  • Policy & procedures: Implement new HR policies, procedures and processes and drive the related change management.
  • EE Engagement : Follow EE survey process, identify areas for improvement, coordinate action plans and follow-up.
  • Employee Relations: ensure proper absence, disciplinaries, grievances, sickness and other cases management as needed.
  • Local policies: Ensure all entity policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law.
  • Ensure line managers understand the policies and are up to date with any changes.
  • Health and Safety : Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for employees.
  • Dealing with Unions: Negotiate, maintaining a positive labour relations environment (where applicable)

Your Profile

  • Min 7 years of relevant experience in international companies in capital equipment or service business, or with a company involved in manufacturing
  • HR business partnership and talent management experience would be desired
  • Good understanding of change management and industrial relations
  • Systemic thinking, analytical, good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resilient, empathetic, customer centric, and result orientated.
  • Progressive managerial experience
  • Multicultural understanding
  • Proficient in English
