Your Mission
After the 16 months rotation, including 5 months period in our site in Parma ( Italy), you will be part of the Innovation Technology Development team, you will be based in Octeville Sur Mer (France).
This team is in charge to detect, evaluate & design a first application of new technologies and / or innovative solutions to propose to the market additional performances for future equipment.
The sustainability is a key driver of the customer values of our equipment, it is a priority in our activity.
As Sustainability Expert, your role will be to propose, understand, evaluate the potential of some solutions enabling a better sustainability of our equipment belonging to beverage complete line ( Blowing ( PET case), filling, labelling, packing, palletizing,…).
You will be, also, involved in the activity of monitoring the performances of the Sidel Sustainability roadmap in the field of the scope 3 of GHG “Green House Gaz” protocol of SIDEL group.
And more specifically, based on the needs expressed by Innovation Technology Development Director & managers, you will :
- Based on the needs expressed by your manager, analyze the requirements and draw up the project's technical specifications
- Organize and lead creativity and brainstorming sessions
- Manage the realization of concepts with the support of in-house or subcontracted designers and specialists in various fields (industrialization, simulation and calculations, functional testing...)
- Perform pre-sizing calculations and numerical simulations
- Structure studies using methodological tools (FMEA, risk analysis, etc.) and development processes
- Manage the functional tests on benches or equipment and the qualification of studied solution (write protocols, follow up on testing, report results)
- Write and present technical and economic summaries to obtain the support of the steering committee
- Recommend new approaches to system optimization and investment in new tools
- Ensure that the solutions developed are free of all rights and ensure that they are protected, in liaison with the property team – If needed, support the purchasing department in selecting and contracting new suppliers
- Maintain a constant technological watch (products, technologies, etc.) and keep abreast of the market
Your Profile
- Master/ engineering school (specialization sustainability / energy engineering)
- Less than 4 years from your master/ engineering degree
- In-depth mechanical / physics knowledge
- General knowledge: electrical, pneumatic, thermal, etc
- Knowledge of numerical calculations and simulations
- Project Management
- Mastery of IT tools, modeling and design software
- Fluent professional English
- Intellectual curiosity : interest in new technologies and ability to acquire new knowledge
