Convert the Engineering strategy into operational objectives and ensure the execution of the department's engineering strategy. Manage multiple engineering teams, secure resource allocation and task prioritization, and deliver on solutions for customer projects & new developments. Maintain ownership of divisional budget, team expenditures, and annual forecasting. Plans, develops, coordinates technical and administrative control for the Engineering Activities in Pune. Directs the work of the engineers and engages in the review and modification of product specifications and analysis of quality variables and indicators. Liaise closely with sourcing team for effective conversion of the technical BOM and act as a supply chain support. Works closely with global product line organization to ensure quality, cost and timeline deliverables are met at any time. Handle complex Engineering problems by performing analyses (technical, risk, root cause), identifying relevant stakeholders and uniting them to propose solutions and corrective action plans. Participate to define technical evolutions or new machines for local market with product management and sales regional team. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), communicate expectations, and measure results on an individual and team basis. Provide mentorship and coaching of team members to support continued education and long-term career growth. Act as the platform owner and be the technical referent for Synergy products.

Level of education and languages:
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automation).
12 to 18 years of relevant experience.
Required experience and skills:
Market knowledge in food, beverages, pharmaceutical or industrial automation and manufacturing is a plus.
Experience in Customer interfacing roles; relevant industry experience is a bonus.
Strong Engineering skills (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Process, etc.)
Hands-on approach to leadership, team building, and coaching.
