Your Opportunity

Sidel is looking for Tunnel Product Support Expert who will be a part of Product Support Back Office Team based in Verona that will report to Product Support Manager. Main function is to secure the operational follow up & technical support of all Tunnel equipment, to validate internally and externally the variants of new products in the portfolio. He is finally accountable to execute RCA following issue resolution process.

Your Mission

  • Secure troubleshooting on Tunnel and associated trade equipment;
  • Support the availability of field methods for installation, qualification, technical analysis, repairing and maintenance activities;
  • Execute RCA on Tunnel equipment issues, supporting the consequent plan of recovery and corrective actions;
  • Secure the application of retrofits on the Tunnel products installed base, where necessary;
  • Participate to L3/L4 equipment FAT (workshop) & installation, start up, validation, commissioning and services (onsite);
  • Support Regional Product Support during start up and commissioning of L3/L4 Tunnel equipment;       
  • Intervention on site in case of technical issues that require a specific RCA & troubleshooting;L                                       
  • Improve personal competences on Tunnel machines, trade associated equipment and line equipments;
  • Support in the workshop prototype internal qualification (run-off, assembly, test);        
  • Support onsite for external qualification of product modifications and variants.                      

Your Profile

  • Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Technical professional qualification;
  • Language requirements: Fluency in English is a must-have, a good level of Italian an advantage for your best local integration;
  • 5 years at least of PMS or field experience, or engineering on Tunnel products;
  • Knowledge of tunnel product and process;
  • Good reporting capability;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Attitude to problem solving (trouble shooting and RCA) and Customer oriented;
  • Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.);
