Join our Spare Parts procurement team, to Ensure the continuous supply of materials to support operations through effective procurement planning and execution. Maintain optimal inventory levels, support OTIF performance, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The role focuses on day-to-day operational execution, while requiring strong knowledge of procurement planning principles to ensure accurate and efficient decision-making. This is primarily an execution-focused role involving a high volume of recurring tasks, requiring consistency, attention to detail, and strong follow-up skills. Main Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day procurement activities, including creation, follow-up, and management of purchase orders
- Plan, schedule, and monitor material requirements to support production and operational needs
- Review requisitions and MRP signals to ensure timely procurement actions
- Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery dates, and shipment status
- Maintain and update material, supplier, and planning data in the ERP/MRP system (SAP)
- Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels and assisting with replenishment activities
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, warehouse, sourcing) to resolve supply and delivery issues
- Maintain accurate documentation, including PO records and required approvals per authorization matrix
- Assist with vendor communication for routine operational topics and issue resolution
- Support the local team with documentation required for customs and operational processes
- Help track and report on open orders, delays, and exceptions
- This role might involve a high volume of recurring, process-driven tasks requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and consistency.
- Perform other duties as required to support evolving business and operational needs
Experience in procurement, planning, supply chain operations and workflows
Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, repetitive environment
Attention to detail and accuracy in transactional work
Strong working knowledge of procurement planning, including MRP (material requirement planning), inventory management,
and supplier coordination, is required.
Experience working in a high-volume, process-driven environment is highly preferred.
