Join our team to manage HS code classification for Sidel materials and operate a dedicated control tower for shipments across Greater China. You'll ensure customs compliance, optimize clearance processes, and support timely delivery of spare parts, warranty components, and upgrade solutions. Your Mission
- HS Code Classification & Compliance
- Perform accurate HS code codification for all Sidel materials, including spare parts, warranty parts, and upgrade/retrofit components
- Stay current with China customs regulations and tariff updates to ensure ongoing compliance
- Maintain classification database and documentation for audit readiness
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand product specifications for precise classification
- Control Tower Operations
- Operate as centralized control tower for all Sidel shipments within Greater China
- Monitor shipment status from origin to final delivery, ensuring real-time visibility
- Proactively identify and resolve customs clearance delays, documentation issues, or logistics disruptions
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to optimize transit times
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Procurement, Logistics, and Service teams to align customs strategies with business needs
- Provide customs expertise to support warranty claims and upgrade project timelines
- Generate regular reports on clearance performance, compliance metrics, and operational improvements
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Logistics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in customs classification, international trade compliance, or logistics coordination
- In-depth knowledge of China HS code system and customs regulations
- Proven experience with control tower or shipment monitoring operations
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
