Mechanical Test Engineer

Your opportunity

Sidel is looking for a Mechanical Tester for filler machines, who will report to the Testing Manager based in Parma. The role focuses on ensuring that machines comply with technical, contractual, and safety specifications through testing activities carried out at the production plant.

Your Mission

Your Responsibilities

• Perform machine testing at the Sidel production plant, verifying performance and compliance with technical, contractual, and safety requirements.
• Identify, manage, and report equipment deficiencies; either resolve them autonomously or coordinate with the appropriate teams for resolution.
• Ensure that machine testing is completed within the allocated testing time and in accordance with the defined testing procedures and routing.
• Accurately compile final testing reports and follow up on any non-conformities (NC) identified during the testing phase.
• Collaborate with other functions to resolve technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement of machine performance and functionality.

Your Profile

Educatiion

• Technical educational background (familiar with mechanical fundamentals)

Skills

• Proficient in MS Office, Outlook
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Lean methodology knowledge is a plus

Language

• English written and spoken

Required experiences and skills

• Complex mechanical assemblies/Complex machinery behavior/Pneumatical/safety skills
• Ability to work autonomously

• Availability to travel up to 20%
