Material Planning Specialist

Your opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Material Planning Specialist to join our team in Santa Maria da Feira. The role is reporting to the Planning & Logistic Manager and includes participation in the Aurora project (SAP S/4HANA Implementation), contributing to both daily material planning operations and the digital transformation of planning processes.

Your Mission

Short-Term (Operational Support):

• Manage daily material planning activities to ensure timely availability of components.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams.
• Maintain planning parameters and ensure data accuracy in the current ERP system.
• Resolve material shortages and delivery issues in collaboration with suppliers.

Medium-Term (Project Involvement – Aurora):

• Act as Key User for the Material Planning stream in the Aurora (SAP S/4HANA) rollout.
• Participate in process mapping, system testing, and validation activities.
• Support data migration and contribute to training and change management efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP platform.

Your Profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in material planning or supply chain operations
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience is a strong advantage as well as Experience in ERP implementation or digital transformation projects.)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proactive and adaptable mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
