Sheet Metal Commodity Analyst Intern

Your opportunity

The Sheet Metal Commodity Analyst is responsible for supporting the Supplier Manager in the per-formance of his missions such as the definition of Commodity Strategies for the Sheet Metal cate-gory (Turning and Milling parts), the preparation of the negotiation including spend analysis, elabo-ration of tactics, the monitoring of transversal activities on behalf of the Supplier Manager. The intern will have the opportunity to work for 6 to max 12 months in a dynamic environment that offers the chance to: Learn about the structure and roles of the Sourcing function within a multinational context; Understand the processes and procedures of supply and supplier management; Acquire skills related to the use of the main corporate information systems; Interact with the different corporate functions and suppliers; Improve their organizational, relational and problem-solving skills.

Your Mission

• Data analysis (spend analysis, prices evolutions, market intelligence)
• Maintain/update master data in Synertrade and SAP for equipment, spare parts and suppliers;
• Follow up of the request for quotation process, the alignment of the bids coming from international suppliers as well as the preparation and presentation of comparison tables
• Support Negotiation;
• Communicate effectively and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Your Profile

• Master Degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Economics
• Fluent in Italian and English (French is a plus)
• Proactive work mentality
• Analytical mindset and problem solving oriented
• Excel knowledge
