Field Commissioning Engineer has the responsibility to:
Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification. Fluency in both French and English is essential for this role. A good command of Italian would be considered a strong asset.
We are looking for candidates with experience in the assembly and testing of complex machinery, field service operations, or technical assistance. For automation engineer profiles, deep knowledge of automation devices—such as PLCs and HMI systems focused on motion control—is required, with familiarity across leading brands including Allen Bradley, Elau/Schneider Electric, B&R, and Siemens. A solid understanding of industrial communication networks is also necessary.
The ideal candidate is capable of managing stressful situations, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and is able to transform technical ideas into clear and professional reports. A customer-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem solving, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA), are essential. Strong interpersonal skills are also required, particularly the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including technicians and clients. The position requires international travel, and therefore candidates must have no restrictions to travelling worldwide.
