As a Pre-Assembly Operator within our Manufacturing team, reporting to a Production Team Leader, you will act as a craftsperson, helping transform technical designs into reliable conveyor systems used by customers worldwide. Through your precision and teamwork, you will contribute to Sidel’s innovation journey by supporting the creation of efficient, high-performance industrial solutions that make a real impact across global production environments.

Your Mission

• Perform mechanical pre-assembly activities including bending materials, cutting, drilling, and fitting components according to technical requirements.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documentation to ensure accurate and reliable assembly.
• Assemble and adjust mechanical components such as gears, chains, bearings, and shafts while maintaining high quality standards.
• Safely operate manual and power tools while following company safety standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and production colleagues to support on-time delivery, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in the assembly or maintenance of mechanical systems within an industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical documentation with precision and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of mechanical components and assembly techniques related to industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, MIG/TIG welding, or SAP user activities is considered a plus.
• A responsible and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to team objectives.
• Commitment to quality workmanship, safe working practices, and continuous learning.
