Your opportunity
As a Field Service Engineer, you will lead the installation, startup, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment at customer sites, specializing in electromechanical systems. You will provide expert technical assistance both during and after the warranty period, deliver specialized training, and manage after-sales services. Your goal is to develop a deep understanding of customer needs to provide objective advice, ensuring the highest levels of equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Your Mission
- Performance Testing: Test
and evaluate equipment performance at customer plants according to
technical, contractual, and safety specifications.
- Technical Operations: Operate electromechanical systems and HMI for routine
activities and advanced troubleshooting, following Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs).
- Technical Execution: Execute
integrated electrical and mechanical work, ensuring seamless communication
between moving parts and control systems.
- Quality Management: Properly
identify, document, and report equipment non-conformities.
- Reporting: Regularly
submit accurate time sheets and detailed technical reports regarding all
on-site activities.
- Customer Satisfaction: Act
as a Sidel ambassador to ensure ultimate internal and external customer
satisfaction.
- Compliance: Perform
all activities in alignment with SOPs, Sidel coordination plans, and
specific customer site safety rules.
- Business Development: Identify
and report potential after-sales opportunities (spare parts, upgrades,
services) detected while on-site.
- Mentorship: Coach
junior colleagues on professional on-site behavior, technical execution,
troubleshooting, and reporting standards.
- Coordination: Report
to the Installation Site Manager (ISM) regarding team activities and
project progress.
Your Profile
- Experience: Minimum
of 3 years in field service engineering or technical maintenance.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven
experience within the beverage industry or liquid packaging sector.
- Technical Expertise: Consolidated electromechanical background, with the ability to
handle both mechanical assemblies and electrical troubleshooting.
- Product Knowledge: Prior
experience with the Sidel Portfolio is a significant plus.
- Process Awareness: Knowledge
of upstream process machinery is highly valued.
- Mobility: High
flexibility and willingness to travel (up to 90% of the time,
internationally).
- Language: Fluency
in Russian/English (additional languages are an advantage).
