Thai Coconut Public Company Limited, a leading producer of coconut-based products, traditionally packaged its beverages in cans and cartons. To support export ambitions, the company required a solution that could meet international standards for food safety, efficiency and resource consumption. It also needed greater flexibility to produce both still and carbonated variants, alongside packaging that would stand out on increasingly competitive retail shelves.
Thai Coconut selected Sidel to implement a complete aseptic PET line, designed to deliver high performance, flexibility and product safety. The solution centres on Sidel’s Aseptic Combi Predis® technology, integrating preform sterilisation, blow moulding, filling and capping in a single system, operating at 45,000 bottles per hour. Its dry decontamination process reduces water and chemical use, while maintaining product integrity and extending shelf life. The line can produce both still and carbonated beverages on a single filler, including 350ml formats, helping optimise operations and the total cost of ownership. Sidel’s Evo-ON® performance technology further strengthens these operations by providing real-time monitoring and actionable insights in optimising efficiency.
Sidel’s aseptic PET line has enabled Thai Coconut to meet international regulatory requirements, including international regulatory requirements, supporting exports to the US and beyond. Currently 90% of production from the line is dedicated to global markets. This flexible system simplifies operations, reduces downtime and limits training needs, while supporting consistent, high-quality output across product formats.
