Your Mission

After the 12-month rotation, which will include few months in our Engineering center based in Pune (India), you will be part of the Industrial Engineering team based in Octeville (near le Havre, France).

The Industrial Engineering Leader is responsible for product industrialization and plays a central cross-functional coordination role. Acting as the key point of convergence between design offices, production, sourcing, and quality, he/she ensures the industrial consistency and feasibility of the developed solutions. This role is also carried out in an international environment, with close collaboration with other industrial engineering teams located abroad, particularly in Pune, India.

Your missions:

Project development

• Participate in the design of equipment to integrate industrial design and assembly constraints as soon as possible with a Design to Cost and Design for Manufacturing approach.
• Actively participate in the control of equipment costs with the purchasing departments.
• Arbitrate the choice of method of supply of machine components in accordance with the manufacturing process.
• Supervise the prototype assembly process to solve manufacturing and assembly problems as soon as possible.
• Define pre-series and serial manufacturing processes as part of project development toll gates.
• Develop the required mechanical tools to ease the assembly of the equipment and ensure employee safety

Production support

• Supervise the provision of the technical documentation necessary for the assembly of the machines.
• Supervise the industrialization and optimization of assembly processes to reduce manufacturing lead time.
• Actively collaborate to reduce customer and internal non-conformities.

Support to purchasing and quality departments.

• Participate in the development of strategic suppliers.
• Participate in the development of critical components requiring in-depth technical expertise

Your Profile

You hold a Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical engineering, Automation or Mechatronics. You are proficient in using SolidWorks, Eplans. Additional knowledge of SAP and Continuous Improvement tools are an asset.

Fluent level in English is a must.

Only the candidates with a maximum of two years of post-graduation experience are eligible for this Talent Program.
