Sourcing Analyst

Your opportunity

Sidel is looking for a motivated and analytical intern to support the Gearmotors & Transmission Sourcing team within the Commercial Components organization. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the end-to-end purchasing pro-cess, working closely with Engineering and internal stakeholders in a structured industrial environment. The intern will contribute directly to sourcing activities and to the development of the Category Strategy for Gearmotors & Transmission, with the possibility to develop a thesis project aligned with sourcing strategy topics.

Your Mission

• Support the end-to-end purchasing flow for Gearmotors & Transmission components;
• Collaborate with Engineering to support sourcing needs and identify improvement opportunities
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Category Strategy for commercial components;
• Support RFQ (Request for Quotation) activities, including quotation collection and consolidation;
• Analyze supplier quotations and support cost comparison and sourcing optimization analyses;
• Manage and update supplier price lists and sourcing databases;
• Support supplier spend analysis and reporting activities;
• Create and maintain dashboards and sourcing reports to support decision-making.
  
  This is a full-time, 6-month internship.

Your Profile

• Student in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering;
• Proficient in English (Italian is mandatory);
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Interest in sourcing, procurement and industrial components;
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail;
• Well-organized and proactive;
• Willing to learn and work in a cross-functional team.
