Your opportunity

The supplier Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and suppliers management for given categories of spend at global and local levels. His/her mission is to achieve commodity results and ensure compliance with Group strategy to drive overall performance & profitability for the Business.

Your Mission

  • Develop and implement short and mid-term global commodity strategies for assigned spend categories, including strategic areas, notably by performing and consolidating data analysis (spent, cost breakdown) and business continuity assessment. 
  • Support local Indirect & Services purchasing requests for the Atlanta plant, ensuring alignment with Group sourcing strategies and procurement policies
  • Support the Travel commodity at global level by driving category governance, supplier coordination, and cost optimization initiatives in alignment with Group strategy
  • Define the annual saving forecast definition by identifying risk and opportunities. Be responsible of the tenders (RFQ) for the allocated commodities and suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts with global and local Suppliers. Negotiation includes lists, quality standards, prices, discount rates, duration, delivery timescales, commercial terms and conditions. 
  • Perform Supplier base management activities by ensuring contracting tasks, financial risk assessment, non quality cost recovery, supplier visit and disengagement process and manage Supplier Relationship at global level, monitoring trend of KPIs and setting necessary corrective actions. Actively interact with suppliers to drive the productivity, meet quality requirements while driving proper actions to mitigate the risks. Manage forcefully the issues escalated impacting the execution. 
  • Scout new suppliers to comply with the category strategy and lead the qualification process developing a unique sustainable supplier base. 
  • Perform analysis in assigned categories. For relevant commodity (cost, strategic importance, …), monitor the market through constant benchmarking and/or cost breakdown analysis in order to continuously improve costs, quality, delivery and technology; and escalade in case of main non conformity
  • Perform business continuity assessment: financial risk including supplier dependency analysis and capacity assessment with dual source analysis.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, or Economics;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in strategic sourcing within an international manufacturing environment; proven experience in Indirect & Services sourcing (Travel Commodity preferred, IT & Digital as a plus) is a strong asset;
  • Proven experience in international negotiations, contracting, and claim management;
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders across multiple organizational levels;
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of SAP and Ariba is an advantage;
  • International work experience or professional exposure outside one’s country of origin is a plus;
  • Results-driven, resilient, and able to work independently;
  • Fluency in English, nice to have in French or Spanish.
