A Strategic Leadership Role within Sidel’s Global Procurement Organization
Sidel is seeking a highly driven and strategically minded Supplier Manager Equipments W/M/D to contribute significantly to our global sourcing excellence. In this key position, you will define and implement procurement strategies for a portfolio of equipment categories integrated into Sidel complete lines.
You will shape global supplier relationships, foster strategic partnerships, and drive initiatives that directly support the Group’s long-term performance, competitiveness, and vision.
Your Mission
- Develop and execute the global commodity strategy for the assigned
equipment categories.
- Conduct spend analyses to determine optimal vendor allocation and
ensure an efficient and competitive supplier portfolio.
- Perform continuous market benchmarking to enhance cost
competitiveness, quality, delivery performance, and equipment reliability.
- Establish the annual savings budget, identifying key risks and
opportunities within your scope.
Prepare and lead annual negotiations on equipment, spare parts price
lists, and service rates (Installation & Commissioning, field
maintenance). - Implement and track cost-saving action plans to meet annual targets.
- Promote and coordinate cost-reduction initiatives and alternative
technical solutions with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Manage global supplier relationships, monitoring KPIs and initiating
corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead the negotiation of long-term agreements, covering pricing,
productivity commitments, quality standards, delivery performance, and
commercial conditions.
- Maintain strong collaboration with internal stakeholders (3PE Product
Managers, Portfolio Management, Strategy & Business Development, EPM)
to support Sidel’s Business Plan and cross-functional efficiency projects.
- Oversee claims management in
cases of equipment non-performance during Installation & Commissioning
or in-field operation.
- Ensure full compliance with
sourcing processes and procurement governance.
- Maintain accurate and
up-to-date master data for equipment, products, and suppliers in our softwares.
Your Profile
- 5 years minimum of experience in strategic sourcing within a competitive and international environment.
- Knowledge of the beverage packaging industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and results-oriented approach.Experience in manufacturing or sales-driven contexts.
You demonstrated expertise in commercial negotiations with global suppliers.
You have a strong background in contract negotiation (terms & conditions) and claim management.
You have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence both internal stakeholders and external partners.
