Your opportunity

The Strategic Sourcing / Platform Sourcing Manager is responsible for driving cost reduction initiatives (PCR & PCD) for equipment in production and ensuring supplier involvement early in the product development process. This role supports engineering and sourcing functions by defining and executing sourcing strategies aligned with New Product Development (NPD) goals. The ideal candidate will lead sourcing activities to achieve best-in-class outcomes in quality, cost, and time to market.

Your Mission

  • Lead cost reduction and deviation programs (PCR & PCD) for production equipment, identifying cost risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Commodity Sourcing, and Suppliers to drive innovation and align sourcing in development projects.
  • Define and execute sourcing strategies for NPD/NTD projects, ensuring alignment with global commodity goals.
  • Involve strategic suppliers early in concept/design phases to meet cost, quality, and reliability targets.
  • Drive and coordinate sourcing plans and reviews, covering supplier selection, contracts, cost targets, qualification, lead times, and risk mitigation.
  • Improve sourcing tools, processes, and collaboration across global functions and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely engagement of SDEs and commodity teams for supplier qualification.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with sourcing processes.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing within an international manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a production or sales-oriented manufacturing environment is a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience in international negotiations, contract management, and claims handling.
  • International work experience or cross-cultural collaboration is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent lean manufacturing knowledge is preferred.
