The Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and processes comply with quality requirements, while leading optimization projects aimed at improving industrial performance, customer satisfaction, and cost reduction.
Reporting to the Operations Manager of SIDEL Corcelles-Lès-Cîteaux (21), your main mission as a Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer will be the following:
- Deploy and manage the quality management system (ISO 9001, customer requirements, etc.) on site.
- Analyze non-conformities and lead corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
- Implement continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, etc.) to optimize production processes.
- Train and raise awareness among teams about quality best practices and the continuous improvement approach.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits (customers, certifications).
- Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and propose improvement actions.
- Participate in the development of new products/processes by ensuring the integration of quality requirements.
- Act as the interface between production, Services, suppliers, and customers on quality-related topics.
Engineering degree (general, quality, production) or equivalent.
3+ years of experience post degree in quality, continuous improvement or processes.
Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, 8D, PDCA, Ishikawa, etc.) and Lean methodologies.
Experience of World Class Manufacturing methodology is a plus.
Experience in an industrial environment is a plus.
Analytical skills, rigor, and ability to synthesize.
Strong project management skills and ability to lead working groups.
Very good english spoken and read level.
