Your opportunity

We are looking for a Project Manager Packaging, based in Sidel Inc, to join our NAM Service Organization, reporting to the Lead Service Project Manager. Located near/in Norcross, our site employs nearly 300 people and has developed around different areas such as project management, sales, after sales, digital solutions, engineering, integration services and line design and automation. As Project Manager Packaging, you will be responsible for driving the day-to-day Packaging Projects from order intake to contract closing - including on-site activity coordination. You will act as the main point contact with the customer for all technical and organizational aspects of the contract, ensuring that deliveries are made on time, within budget and to stakeholders’ satisfaction.

Your Mission

  • Understand customer needs, develop & present Packaging and Molds Line solutions Levels 1 & 2, Level 3/4 with Regional Pkg Expert's support.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility and risks of a Pkg/Line conversion project accompany customer during trials, seeks support from RPE as required.
  • Execute Pkg/Line conversion project following the QTC‐S process (molds, trials launch, Micro test, etc.). Level 3/4 complexity with RPE's support.
  • Be responsible for the Quality, Cost, Delivery (timeline) of the projects from Precontracting to project closure.
  • Manage project crisis and plan for a course of action in conjunction with all project stakeholders, including RPE's support for most critical issues.
  • "Go‐to" PM for general support to PMS and ASM about Packaging and Line troubleshooting (L1/2), L3/4 with RPE's support.
  • Support After Sales on the front line and help track Pkg/Line Conversion opportunities to new and small customers.
  • Provide accurate, up‐to‐date project information to ensure reporting is properly completed.
  • Manage coordination of on‐site technicians for line testing run.

  • Qualifications.
  • Propose additional Services Products when required to secure project success and to maximize
  • customer satisfaction.
  • Alongside the RPE and LPM, communication with Product Managers for updates, new Packaging developments, applications and technology.


Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience with project management activities and strong technical expertise.
  • Strong drive for results with a focus on achieving performance objectives.
  • Ability to effectively direct, guide, and support others.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
