We invite you to join our Business Transformation PMO team as the PMO Director, where you will be responsible for overseeing one of the core transformation programs of our transformation portfolio, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. You will champion project management best practices, drive cross-functional collaboration, and provide expert guidance to project managers and stream leaders. In this pivotal role, you will directly coordinate two staff members and oversee the dedicated IT PMO. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering successful transformation outcomes across the enterprise.
Your Mission
- Steer program planning, resource allocation, risk management, and mitigation.
- Drive proactive decision-making, stakeholder management, governance, progress tracking, and cost control across the transformation program.
- Coordinate steering committees, ensuring clear communication and reporting to executive stakeholders.
- Ensure preparation for key milestones; proactively identify and address potential needs, issues, and risks before they escalate.
- Foster effective communication between program stakeholders, project teams, and executive leadership.
- Supervise the maintenance and ensure the quality of program documentation and project records.
- Supervise program administrative and operational activities to ensure adherence to requirements and oversight of key deliverables such as schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Provide project management mentoring to project managers and team members.
- Conduct project reviews to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for future projects.
- Facilitate change control, cutover planning, and readiness assessments for business transformation programs.
- Oversee the IT PMO, ensuring strong program governance, alignment with business objectives, and effective collaboration between IT and business units.
- Directly coordinate two staff members, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing cross-functional or international business transformation projects, with a strong foundation in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
- Experience with major ERP implementations (such as SAP S/4HANA) and large-scale international business transformations is highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or PMP/PMI certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective navigation of complex challenges.
- Experience in the packaging or manufacturing industry, especially with supply chain, logistics, or production modules, is a plus.
- Ability to lead and deliver under pressure in high-stakes transformation environments.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support geographically distributed teams.
