The Spare Parts Product Management & Portfolio Development Director has the mission to drive the strategic development of the Spare Parts product portfolio, identifying and launching new value-added offers, and progressively shifting the business from transactional sales of physical products toward solution-oriented and recurring revenue models of intangible (spare-part-related) services.
Your Mission
The Spare Parts Product Management & Portfolio Development Director leads the strategic evolution of our Spare Parts portfolio, transforming it into a differentiating, customer-centric, and profitable line of business. This role is responsible for defining the product strategy, managing the full lifecycle from ideation to phase-out, and ensuring the seamless introduction of innovative products and services that respond to market needs and business ambitions.

This role requires a strong ability to translate customer insight and market intelligence into actionable product initiatives. You will work closely with Commercial Enablement, Pricing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Digital teams to define cohesive go-to-market strategies and ensure successful commercialization.

- Define the mid- and long-term Spare Parts product strategy, aligned with business goals and customer needs.
- Lead the development and go-to-market of new products and services, with a focus on innovation, differentiation, and profitability.
- Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation to phase-out, ensuring robust governance and structured launch processes – including internal and external communication of the value proposition.
- Coordinate and lead the Obsolescence Management process for spare parts, including forecasting, communication, substitution strategy, and end-of-life management.
- Coordinate a team of Product Managers and Lifecycle Specialists to oversee the existing portfolio and support its transformation.
- Monitor market trends, customer demands, competitive landscape, and internal performance to identify opportunities and gaps.
- Collaborate with Commercial Enablement, Pricing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Digital to ensure cohesive and executable strategies.
- Develop business cases and define value propositions for new products, ensuring commercial readiness and sales enablement.
- Foster a structured approach to cross-functional product development, including pilot validation, scaling, and performance tracking.
- Promote a customer-centric mindset, ensuring new products respond to real needs and generate measurable impact.
This position offers a key leadership opportunity to shape the future of the Spare Parts business, driving both innovation and growth through a modern, service-oriented portfolio.
