Your opportunity

The Complete Line Expert is responsible for the technical performance of SIDEL complete lines. Working with the Complete Line Product Managers in defining the roadmap vision refinements based on markets inputs. He is very integrated with Product Managers to merge all the machines (SIDEL and 3PE) in one solution (the complete line).

Your Mission

The role of Complete Line Expert is focused on the following responsibilities:

• Defining standard of pre-contracting layout, in terms of: Line concept, V-Graph and accumulation times and Line performances
• Design rules and layout for Best Practice Line program
• Defining optimized lines standards per segment (efficiency, price, flexibility…)
• Defining the mechanical interfaces between machines in line
• Defining the level of complexity for complete line
• Owner of the simulation software (PacSi)
• TCO calculation and training
• Lines expertise in terms of pre-contracting, layout and simulation capabilities, to support Regions on complex deals or new types of requests, configuration for best competitiveness (through adequate configuration, partners, layout)
• Simulations for complete line (performances, TCO, OEE, changeover)

Your Profile

Level of education and languages:

Engineering degree (master)

Fluent in English

• Additional languages (French, Italian, Chinese) are an advantage Required experience and skills:
• Good technical knowledge relating to the Packaging industry, or with similar industry
• Strong competence in beverage line layout
• Strong competence in and knowledge of system control, data acquisition, and network architecture
• Experience with product development and/or innovation is a plus
• Good understanding of complete line concept, as well as modular architecture and configurability
• Understanding of basics of P&L or profitability analysis
• Excellent leadership and communication skills be able to communicate effectively at all levels, and with all functions
• Availability for worldwide short-term business trip

• Ability to work cross-borders and cross-functionally, with other parts of the Sidel organisation (commercial zones, sourcing, engineering, etc), as well as external suppliers
