Your opportunity
As a key driver of Makro Labelling’s expansion in China, you will lead direct sales and business development efforts across the country. This role is focused on generating new business, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth in the beverage, spirits, food, and personal care sectors.
Your Mission
- Lead direct sales efforts by identifying, approaching, and converting new customers throughout China.
- Develop and execute a nationwide business development strategy, tailored to regional market dynamics.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities, ensuring consistent deal flow.
- Conduct in-depth customer needs analysis and deliver tailored Makro Labelling solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of the full Makro product portfolio to effectively position solutions and support customer decision-making.
- Establish and grow a network of local distributors, agents, and system integrators across key provinces.
- Collaborate with Sidel’s regional teams to align on account strategies and maximize cross-selling opportunities.
- Negotiate and close contracts with key accounts, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes across China.
- Represent Makro at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings nationwide.
Your Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Languages: Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Experience: 5+ years in direct sales or business development in industrial equipment, packaging, or related sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of the Chinese industrial and regulatory landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Based in China, with willingness to travel extensively across the country and occasionally internationally.
