Payroll Specialist

Your opportunity

Sidel is looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for the UK and Poland, plus back-office activities for Spain. Responsibilities include accurate processing, compliance with local laws, and collaboration with HR and Finance. Requires knowledge of Polish payroll regulations (UK to be learnt), attention to detail, and experience with payroll systems.

Your Mission

 The role involves ensuring accurate and timely salary processing, compliance with local tax and employment regulations, and maintaining up-to-date employee records.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external providers to support audits, reporting, and continuous process improvements. Strong knowledge of UK and Polish payroll legislation (The UK one can be leanrt inhouse), attention to detail, and proficiency with payroll systems are essential.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic international environment while ensuring operational excellence and compliance across both regions. This position will aslo ensure backup of colleagues in other countries.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven 3/4 years experience in payroll processing for Poland and ideally UK
• Strong knowledge of local tax, social security, and employment regulations
• Proficiency with payroll and HR systems (ADP Celergo, Cornerstone MyLink, Successfactor a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Excel: formulas, macros
• Fluency in English; in Polish and another european language is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
