Your Mission

After the 12 months rotation, which will include few months in our Engineering center based in PUNE (India), you will be part of the Industrial Engineering team based in Octeville (France).

The Industrial Engineering Team in charge of the industrialization of new products while supporting the local production center on different topics such as (but not limited to) Product evolution, issue resolutions, economics, safety. Sidel being a global company, It is important to notice that Octeville IE team is closely working with other different IE Teams worldwide. (Italy, India, Portugal, China)

After successful program completion, your role should be INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING LEADER (M/W), your missions will be as follows :

Project developments

  • Participate in the design of equipment to integrate industrial design and assembly constraints as soon as possible with a Design to Cost and Design for Manufacturing approach.
  • Actively participate in the control of equipment costs with the purchasing departments.
  • Arbitrate the choice of method of supply of machine components in accordance with the manufacturing process.
  • Supervise the prototype assembly process to solve manufacturing and assembly problems as soon as possible.
  • Define pre-series and serial manufacturing processes as part of project development toll gates.
  • Develop the required mechanical tools to ease the assembly of the equipment and ensure employee safety
  • Technical & costing configurators development

Production support

  • Supervise the provision of the technical documentation necessary for the assembly of the machines.
  • Supervise the industrialization and optimization of assembly processes to reduce manufacturing lead time.
  • Actively collaborate to reduce customer and internal non-conformities.

Support to purchasing and quality departments.

  • Participate in the development of strategic suppliers.
  • Participate in the development of critical components requiring in-depth technical expertise

Your Profile

  • Fluency in English is required
  • Master degree [Electrical (preferred) /Automation/Mechatronics]
  • Less than 2 years working experience from your master degree is required
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks, Eplans, SAP and Continuous Improvement tools would be appreciated.
