Your opportunity
As a Regional Project Controller, where you'll work closely with project managers to develop budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial compliance, helping to optimize project outcomes and manage risks effectively.
Your Mission
- Financial
Planning and Analysis:
Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Analyze project financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
Prepare regular inputs for financial reports and presentations for regional and central organizations (Services & Equipment) - Budget Management:
Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Work with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend adjustments as needed.
Provide financial guidance to project managers to optimize project profitability.
Resource allocation: Work with project managers to allocate financial resources effectively (e.g., Installation and commissioning activities. - Cost Control:
Track project costs and Implement cost control measures to minimize overruns and ensure cost efficiency.
Perform cost-benefit analysis for project decisions and change requests. - Risk Management:
Identify financial risks associated with projects and develop risk mitigation strategies with relevant business stakeholders.
Monitor project financial performance to proactively address potential issues, opportunities, and deviations.
Assess the financial impact of project delays or scope changes. - Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Ensure that project financial data is accurately recorded and reported in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate project audits.
Maintain documentation to support financial transactions and project financial records. - Project Performance Analysis:
Evaluate project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve project profitability and efficiency.
Assist in post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices. - Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with project management teams, finance departments local and central, sales team, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial goals with project objectives.
Communicate financial updates and insights to project managers, functions, and central FP&A.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree
in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Master's degree or
relevant certifications, such as CPA or CMA, may be preferred).
- Several years of experience in finance or project control roles, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong financial analysis skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
