Your opportunity
Sidel is looking for an Aseptic Field Service Engineer that performs Installation, start‐up, commissioning and test of the Sidel Aseptic Equipment supplied to customer sites. The candidate must perform technical assistance during and after the warranty period, carry out trainings and other after sales services of Sidel’s equipment installed at customer sites. Develop a good understanding of the customer needs to provide objective advice and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Your Mission
- Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications.
- Check all instrument and being capable to parametrize it as will be used during phases of cleaning, sterilization and production.
- Check and setting all parameters and recipes to perform the correct cleaning and sterilization cycle and get the Combi ready for the production.
- Meeting with Site Manager, Aseptic Filed Coordinator and customer to organize the Filler and/or Blower progresses.
- Perform the alarms check with Process Authority and Customer.
- Perform the Aseptic validation with Process Authority and Customer.
- Perform the caps and bottles validation with Process Authority and Customer to validate all caps, preforms and bottles.
- Capable to create Tickets securing the proper follow-up of equipment’s non-conformities.
- Prepare the job progress chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.
- Perform activities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) securing Sidel and Customers coordination plan rules.
- Report to his manager after sales opportunities detected on Customer site.
- Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Ensure equipment’s safeties and protections in place and functionals to the scope.
- Report to the Installation Site Manager and Aseptic Field coordinator for team site activities.
Your Profile
- Fluent level of English is a must.
- Specialization in Auto-Mechanical or Automation (PLC programming)
- Experience in the beverage/packaging industry is a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience in field activities.
- Technical subject matter expertise on Automation (B&R, Siemens, Elau & AB) Electrical or Aseptic technology capabilities are a plus.
- Spanish, Italian and/or French is an advantage.
- Availability to travel up to 90 % (Including International Locations).
Without being limited to those activities, the Field Service Engineer must be:
- Having the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Be capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, or climbing ladders for extended periods.
- Be comfortable working in confined spaces, on rooftops, or at heights using proper safety equipment.
- Having manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for handling tools, parts, and delicate components.
- Having the ability to work in varied environments, including noisy, dusty, hot, cold, etc.
- Able to drive and travel long distances, sometimes with short notice.
- Be able to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and respirators.
