Thanakorn Vegetable Oil Products pioneers next‑generation edible oil production with Sidel’s EvoBLOW Laser

The challenge

As a leading edible oil producer in Thailand, TVOP is committed to continuously strengthening its production capabilities to meet evolving market expectations while reducing environmental impact. With the construction of a brand‑new factory, TVOP required future‑ready technologies that would support lightweight packaging, energy efficiency and operational stability, while maintaining the high quality and performance required for edible oil applications.

The solution

TVOP partnered with Sidel to fully equip its new facility with advanced complete edible oil lines, centred around the EvoBLOW Laser. This pioneering technology is complemented by a suite of innovative solutions, including EvoFilm Stretch, CoboREEL and Sidel’s full Evo‑ON® digital platform, alongside a new digital monitoring solution interfacing with TVOP’s enterprise and logistics systems.

The outcome

The precision of the EvoBLOW Laser has enabled TVOP to introduce a new one‑litre edible oil bottle, developed with Sidel’s packaging experts. It has achieved a two‑gram lightweighting compared to alternative designs, while maintaining the required strength, shelf appeal and durability throughout its distribution. Additional solutions, such as Sidel’s CoboREEL, support automated label-reel loading with three times the reel capacity of other market solutions. EvoFilm Stretch contributes to TVOP’s lower‑carbon‑footprint targets through a 90% reduction in energy consumption compared to traditional shrink‑wrap systems. Sidel’s Evo‑ON® cloud suite also supports line performance by transforming equipment data into actionable insights.
