Your opportunity

The Localization Sourcing manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the competitiveness of the organization by identifying, developing and onboarding suppliers, with focus on local / regional needs. This position will drive supplier localization initiatives in line with global category strategies and overall industrial footprint strategy in alignment with the business objectives.

Your Mission

Main responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new suppliers within the region to achieve strategic cost advantages
  • Lead localization activities for the region in line with global category strategies
  • Conduct supplier capability assessments, including technical, financial and operational evaluations
  • Implement supplier onboarding process to meet company quality, delivery and sustainability standards
  • Partner with the Sourcing groups, Supplier quality other cross functional teams
  • Negotiate and establish long-term agreements with the new suppliers, ensuring competitive TCO and favorable terms
  • Define benefit targets and ensure achievement of targets and KPIs on a regional suppliers development roadmap
  • Communicate effectively and manage relationships with key stakeholders and relevant internal personnel
  • Ensure compliance with the sourcing processes

Your Profile

Education requirements:

  • Master Degree or equivalent (In Business, Economics or Engineering)
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Basic SAP knowledge or equivalent

Language requirements:

  • English

Professional qualification and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing in international environment, preferably in high industry standards companies
  • International negotiation, contract and claim management
  • Prepared to travel
  • Experience in supplier scouting, evaluation, business case creation and assessment
  • Additional experience in cost reduction projects, value analyses, total quality mgt., supplier qual. assurance
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; be able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Result oriented
