Pre-Assembly Operator

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Mechanical Assembler to join our team in the assembly of industrial conveyor systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and a proactive attitude toward safety, quality, and teamwork. Our Santa Maria da Feira site in Portugal is one of our main production centres. It specialises in the manufacture of conveyors and packaging equipment, thus contributing to our mission of providing high-quality solutions to our customers all over the world. This site is equipped with the latest technologies and offers a stimulating working environment.
Mechanical assembly, bend of materials, cut and drill skills
Interpret and work from mechanical drawings and technical documentation
Knowledge about mechanical components (gears, chains, bearings, shafts)
Use manual and power tools safely and effectively
Proven experience in the assembly or maintenance of mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Knowledge of mechanical components and assembly techniques
Pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic welding (MIG/TIG) skills are a plus
SAP basic skills as user is a plus
Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and teamwork
Ability to work independently and follow clear technical instructions
