We're seeking an Automation Coordinator with a strong technical foundation and collaborative spirit to join our Service Engineering team. In this role, you'll focus primarily on SIDEL fillers and process machines, managing software development and modifications to support operational excellence. You’ll lead and coordinate both internal and external teams, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality results—especially during on-site field tests. This position calls for a solid understanding of PLC and HMI systems, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a willingness to travel as needed. Fluency in Italian and English is essential to navigate our multilingual environment and global collaborations. Your Mission

  • Coordinate the planning, activities of internal/external engineering resources
  • Organize proactively meeting with region and internal networks to evaluate the project feasibility, at offer stage and at project execution stage (SWP, RCA, RA, etc)
  • Manage the development of service automation software (standard and safety) until field test and customer support.
  • Manage and develop software modification (standard and safety), in order to apply improvement solution on the installed machine, until field test and customer support.
  • Software Inventory.
  • Respect Guidelines & Rules in software development.
  • Work with a strong relationship with hardware team and PLC/HMI team.
  • Procure all technical documents linked to the software.
  • Perfect understanding of electrical design, PLC/HMI design.

Your Profile

  • Knowledge of SIDEL regular filler/mixer (Combi / Standalone)
  • Knowledge of PLC platform (Siemens S7, B&R, Rockwell)
  • Knowledge of HMI (Zenon) and Motion platforms (Danfoss, ELAU, B&R)
  • Ability to manage and satisfy customer requests
  • Skills to meet deadlines, commitments and problem solving
  • Positive attitude, cooperation and good interpersonal skills
  • Rigor, integrity, autonomy and organized
  • Desire to learn
  • Availability to travel 
  • Education: o Bachelor or Master Degree or Equivalent
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, SAP knowledge
  • Language requirements: Fluent Italian, English, written and spoken
