Your opportunity

You will work on Line Improvement projects for SIDEL blow molders, Aseptic included, installed and operational at customer sites. Develop and implement the electrical components of projects during the design, industrialization, and upgrade phases. You will define all the requirements for the procurement (bills of materials), assembly, and on-site installation procedures of our equipment, while respecting safety, quality, cost, and time requirements. The Services Line Solutions Engineering department links engineering activities (product development/evolution/innovation) to implementation at our customers' installed base (O&U) services. You will report to the Automation/Electrical/HMI Services Line Solutions Manager.

Your Mission

  • Identify technical and functional specifications and define the appropriate technologies, materials, and electrical architecture in compliance with company standards and norms.
  • Design electrical schematics, layout plans, and bills of materials using CAD software.
  • Manage configuration data and standard routines (procedures, SAP data).
  • Address component obsolescence by proposing viable alternatives.
  • Define and document upgrade procedures for existing customer installations.
  • Prepare technical quotations within company feasibility and deadline constraints.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to monitor product evolutions, assess impact on customer systems, and implement necessary changes during the upgrade phase.

Your Profile

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), and you are fluent in English. Knowledge of Italian or French is considered a strong asset.

You are proficient with electrical design tools such as EPLAN, SEE Electrical, or AutoCAD, and have a solid understanding of industrial standards like EN60204-1 and ISO13849.

Experience with SAP PLM, industrial PLCs (B&R, Siemens), and industrial networks (Profinet, Powerlink) is highly valued. Familiarity in packaging machinery in the food industry is a plus.
