Your Opportunity

Competek is a new company part of Sidel Group who has been created after the integration of COMEP (France) in 2019 and Pet Engineering (ITALY) in 2018. We employ 83 people on both site and our activities are the engineering of new packaging solution, manufacturing of the tools, installation and conversion of production line for the beverage industry. Competek combines 20 years of experience and expertise to supply innovative solution, able to personalize his solution to their customers and with a world-wide presence. As Sales Manager, your role is to develop for a specific area the sales and the profitability of Competek on Packaging services, Molds and Line conversion. The Area Sales Manager will cover Italy, Balkan, Greece and some East countries of Europe.

Your Mission

  • Increase sales and profitability of Competek, reaching the targets and goals set for his/her area
  • Define and implement action plans, adapting the sales strategy to his/her area
  • Prepare and finalize the commercial offers, adapted to customers specifications while proposing additional services when possible
  • Sell and negotiate Competek porfolio, according to rules and processes of the Company
  • Plan customer contacts and visits
  • Maintain and expand his/her customer base
  • Provide forecasts and report to relevant stakeholders
  • Collect and analyse market and competitor information on his/her area
  • Define reliable solutions with customers in case of overdues
  • Validate new customers according to Company rules
  • Define the content and the pricing of each offer
  • Validate each order vs offer
  • Ask for derogations when needed
  • Increase sales and profitability of Competek, reaching the targets and goals set for his/her area

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in English and French is a must
  • Min 3 years of sales experience
  • Technical skills
  • The knowledge of the market is a valuable asset
  • Ability to travel (>50%)
