KNOWLEDGEshare Live back in China – beverage market challenges and opportunities in focus

KNOWLEDGEshare Live in Chengdu 2015 will bring togethersenior industry players and thought leaders in a neutral setting todiscuss where the Chinese beverage industry isheading. 


The latest in this series of live events, presented inassociation with Sidel and Tetra Pak Processing, will take placeover two days from 24-25 March and is expected to attract more than400 participants.  As the provincial capital of Sichuanprovince, Chengdu is a major city in Western China and the city'sRitz Carlton Hotel will be the venue for the event.

 

As with previous events, KNOWLEDGEshare Live Chengdu 2015 is aninvitation-only forum for senior players within the beverageindustry to discuss the issues, challenges and opportunities, alongwith the global trends that are presently affecting theindustry.  Through adopting a collaborative approach withrepresentatives from across the beverage supply chain, the commonchallenges faced in beverage production can be much moreeffectively addressed.

 

Chengdu skyscrapersParticipants will be encouraged to share theirexperiences, ideas and knowledge of the Chinese beverage market, inan environment in which dialogue and collaboration is very much thefocus. Innovation will be key to the discussions, recognising itsimportance in terms of packaging solutions, automation andincreased plant efficiencies to assist beverage producers inmeeting both current and future challenges.  Topics such asrising energy prices and production costs, rapidly changingconsumer demands and increased regulation will also be among thesubjects discussed.  With speakers addressing the audience ineither English or Chinese, simultaneous interpretation facilitieswill be readily available for all delegates. Speakers will includefuturologist James Bellini, along with senior representatives fromthe beverage industry.

 

Adopting the successful framework of previous KNOWLEDGEshareevents, the format will be tailored to build a discussion-based,collaborative approach, with much of the content generated byinteraction between the participants.  New compared to theprevious KNOWLEDGEshare Live event in China in 2014, iPads will bedistributed to all the participants to encourage even greateraudience interactivity. This will contribute to the discussions,the capability to ask questions and voting on the topics beingdiscussed all available through the iPads.  There will againbe opportunity for Q&As throughout the event.  Attendeeswill also be able to network during breaks and during the galadinner on the final evening.

 

KNOWLEDGEshare Live 2015 in Chengdu is the fourth staging ofKNOWLEDGEshare Live and the second time the event has been held inChina, following KNOWLEDGEshare in Sanya on Hainan Island in March2014. KNOWLEDGEshare Live has also been successfully staged inGermany and, earlier this year, in Dubai.
