Join our team as a Service Automation Designer (ASEPTIC) and play a pivotal role in enhancing our existing SIDEL equipment portfolio! In this position, you will focus on automation activities for our Aseptic Filler FMA, while also having the exciting opportunity to expand your expertise across other Sidel fillers, mixers, and our innovative combi and super combi Matrix systems. You will develop and support automated system programs and create essential documentation for the Service Engineering Department, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and support. Reporting directly to the Services Engineering Automation Manager, you will be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation and professional growth. Your Mission
- Manage the development of service automation software (standard and safety) until field test and customer support.
- Manage and develop software modification (standard and safety), in order to apply improvement solution on the installed machine, until field test and customer support.
- Based on a technical problem or customer request, research and develop new automated solutions as part of the evolution or adaptation of an existing solution, by identifying the technical or functional specifications
- Define the necessary technologies and materials by choosing the different components and the automation architecture, in compliance with the company's design standards and current standards
- Modelize and configure programs using design software
- Test and validate its operation in simulation (test bench) so that it is compliant when installed at the customer's premises
- Propose new solutions to replace obsolete hardware on older machines
- Contribute to technical decisions as part of a multidisciplinary design study
- Define the cost of upcoming client projects by determining the required equipment and quantifying the study time
- Ensure the machine database and automation-related documentation are updated. (Soft Ware Inventory)
- As a technical support provider, advise, guide, and support teams by proposing solutions to problems encountered.
Your Profile
Bachelor or Master Degree or Equivalent
Proficient in MS Office, Outlook , SAP knowledge
English
Italian or French would be a plus
Technical skills
:
- Knowledge of PLC platform (Siemens S7, B&R)
- Knowledge of HMI (Zenon) and Motion platforms (Danfoss, ELAU, B&R)
- Perfect understanding of electrical design, PLC/HMI design.
- Technical knowledge of machines: mechanics, processes, pneumatics
- Knowledge of reading electrical plans, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams
- Electrical authorizations
- Knowledge of SIDEL filler Aseptic (Combi / Standalone) would be a plus
