Accountant

Your Opportunity

We are looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for delivering accounting processes of Sidel including: collecting data, analyzing data, verifying and reporting financial information.

Your Mission

• Post financial transactions and analyze accounting information
• Reconcile account ballances
• Participate in forecasting, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions
• If applicable, contribute to accounting information/recommendations, prepare and implement action plans
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and analyzing policies and procedures, answer accounting procedure questions  
• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by observing confidentiality
• Perform monthly/quarterly closure activities, including the preparation of financial and accounting reporting packages to the group
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local financial requirements; study existing and new legislature, make  recommendations to managers on operational issues
• Prepare financial reports and ad-hoc analysis in response to request coming from the local management and the group
• Contribute to the stabilization and evolution of the ERP Systems and Reporting tools  

Your Profile

• Min 3-6 yrs of experience working in the accounting department  in multinational companies
• Solid knowledge of IFRS principles
• Proficient in MS Office, comfortable with working on daily basis with various financial software
• Knowledge of SAP B1, SAP ECC, SAP Business Objects is a plus
