Your opportunity

We are looking after a Pricing Director (M/W) for our Capital Equipment Business. You will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze market dynamics, competitor pricing, and customer value drivers. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and optimizing pricing processes and policies within Sidel. Join us!

Your Mission

Develop Pricing Strategies:

  • Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies for capital equipment products, including new product  launches, pricing promotions, and discounting policies.
  • Analyze market trends, customer segmentation, and competitor pricing to identify opportunities for pricing optimization and differentiation.

Price Setting and Governance:

  • Establish pricing guidelines and governance processes to ensure consistency and alignment with business objectives, profitability targets, and market dynamics.
  • Monitor pricing performance and conduct regular reviews to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and adjust as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Sales, Go to Market, Product Management, Finance, and Operations teams to align pricing strategies with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to develop customized pricing proposals and negotiate pricing agreements with key customers and channel partners.

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Utilize data analytics tools and market research to analyze pricing trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning.
  • Generate insights and recommendations to inform pricing decisions and drive revenue growth and profitability.

Pricing Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

  • Implement pricing optimization tools and methodologies to enhance pricing decision-making processes and improve pricing outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline pricing processes, enhance pricing capabilities, and increase operational efficiency.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including pricing transparency, anti-trust regulations, and contract pricing policies, whenever applicable.
  • Identify and mitigate pricing-related risks and vulnerabilities to protect the company's financial interests and reputation.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of proven experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or related roles, preferably in the capital equipment industry.
  • Previous experience with a Pricing Management Tool and in Value Based Pricing
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Language: English is a must, Italian and French are a plus
