Your Opportunity
PET Engineering is looking for a product engineer who designs new bottles in accordance with customer specifications and process feasibility, including the preforms drawings.
This position reports to the packaging developping manager.
Your Mission
- Collects
all the necessary information for the execution of the bottle designs,
understanding the requests and needs of the customer and preventing the
problems of the containers.
- Creates
both, paper and software folder, for the
collection of all the documents and data necessary to carry out the order.
- If
necessary, carries out checks or dimensional surveys of existing bottles or
mold parts.
- Delivers
the design of the container.
- Performs
bottle coding
- Manages
the technical documentation of the container such as the drawings signed by the
customer and the technical specifications received.
- Collaborates
with other departments to give all the information necessary for the correct
completion of the phases, such as technical specifications for the technical
office or for the laboratory and prototyping.
- Modifies
and updates the documentation contained in the project folder
- Fills
in and updates the bottle and all the data required on the CRM related to the
job done.
- Operates
in full compliance with the procedures defined by the quality manual.
- Ensures
the necessary confidentiality of the information and data received and
generated in the course of the entrusted activities, in compliance with the
provisions of the law and the internal rules of conduct of the company.
Your Profile
Bachelor degree in engineering or design matters
English B2
More
than three years of working experience product engineer
Previous
experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role
Proven
experience using CAD software; knowledge of CREO is a plus
