PRODUCT INFORMATION

The BC50 combined tray packer/lid fitter offers numerous advantages. Firstly, all types of lids are handled (U-shaped lid, cross lid, etc.). Next, the lid and tray are evenly pressed, thus guaranteeing squaring. Additionally, the blank magazines are easy to access. As an option, full wrap-around cases with short flaps, trays with ledges, etc. can also be handled, while tray or lid gluing is possible with products with no counter-pressure.

All operations are positively controlled, and the unit offers speeds of up to 26 outers per minute depending on the product and collation. Automatic size changeovers are available as an option.

Product lidding

Stocking of blanks in an adjustable flat magazine with motorized belt, 1200mm long.
Positive extraction and positioning of the blank by a rotating arm with suction cups.
Positive transfer of the blank to the lidding station by a motorized back-and-forth movement.
Elevation of the product batch into the lid through a die.
Blades used to form the lid around the batch when handling products without counter-pressure.
Forming of the lid around the batch by a die incorporated into the loading pusher.
Application of glue strips on the lid sides during motorized transfer into the blank.

Tray loading of the lidded batch

Stocking of blanks in an adjustable flat magazine with motorized belt, 1200mm long.
Positive extraction and accurate positioning of the blank in a U-shape between brackets by a rotating arm with suction cups.
Blank held between brackets by folding and guiding the long bottom flaps.
Flap deflection and guiding of the lidded batch into the blank by bridge and loading funnel.
Motorized transfer of the lidded batch into the blank with front and rear guides.
Motorized transfer of the blanks by shuttle advancing step by step.
Progressive folding of long flaps with speed control to apply even glue strips.
Application of pressure on the sides of the static packaging to guarantee gluing and squaring prior to outfeed.
