PET

The material with the greatest opportunities

Plastic bottles made out of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) represent a beneficial alternative for both producers and consumers alike. Over the years, PET bottles have widened their scope, providing the highest food safety for a variety of products, including: water, carbonated soft drinks, juices and teas, liquid dairy products and milk, beer, food, and household and personal care products.

It protects our drinks
Tough and shatter-free, PET is a transparent material able to resist gas penetration better than most polymers. Currently, PET is the number one packaging material for liquid-food products. The care taken throughout product processing, container manufacturing and filling, combined with tamper-evidence closure, ensures the highest levels of food safety.

It gives us a big taste of freedom

In our modern lifestyle, we're more mobile than ever before. Thanks to their remarkably light weight, PET bottles make the most convenient companions for on-the-go activities, from picnics to sporting events to in-flight snacking. Closure tightness and re-sealability are also a key part of this convenience. Additionally, the freedom in bottle design allows brands of all sizes to highlight their image and collaborate with the quality enhancements of their products. PET also offers lower production and transport costs.

It can be a hero in times of need

PET is, above all, a reliable solution for delivering the world's most vital resource: water. This is especially important in regions where there is no effective water infrastructure and valuable in times of crisis and natural disaster. Transporting them is especially efficient because packaging represents merely 3.5% of the total weight of the liquid it holds.

A sustainable material, fully recyclable

R-PET is an abbreviation for recycled PET. Recycling PET uses two-thirds less energy than what it takes to manufacture original PET. It can be reused for bottles as long as it's approved for food contact - but, in principle, almost 100% of bottles can be produced with R-PET. It's the safe choice for your products and the environment.
