Filling glass with maturity and status
Glass bottles are the traditional form of packaging for liquid products. Today, they are still used primarily for beer globally, and also for wine, spirits, soft drinks and sensitive products in some parts of the world.
100% recyclable, glass bottles can be created in sizes ranging from 10 ml to 5 liters, but they have less flexibility of shape compared to PET plastic bottles. They are also heavier and less durable, as they can easily shatter when dropped.
Even though glass is positioned as a mature market, it has a high level of consumer acceptance and is perceived as a "premium" quality packaging format.
